CHANDIGARH: Haryana Home Minister, Anil Vij said that blood donation is a noble cause. A healthy person must contribute towards this noble cause. A precious life can be saved by donating blood.
He was speaking after distributing certificates to blood donors at the Blood Donation Camp held to mark birthday of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in Ambala today. On this occasion, about 240 units of blood were collected.
While interacting with the media persons after this event, Vij said that the 70th birthday of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is being celebrated as Seva Saptah (service week) in the entire nation. He said that Mr. Modi is the first Prime Minister of our country who has proved his mettle globally.
