So far, 377,172.02 metric tonnes of paddy procured from Haryana’s mandis

During the Kharif procurement season 2025–26, the Haryana Government has directly transferred Rs 108.74 crore into the bank accounts of farmers, thereby ensuring payment of the Minimum Support Price (MSP).
The procurement is being done from farmers registered on the Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal. So far, paddy has been purchased from 36,980 registered farmers in the state.
A spokesperson of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department said today a total of 503,055.41 metric tonnes of paddy arrived in mandis across the state. Out of this, 89,303.88 metric tonnes have already been lifted, and 377,172.02 metric tonnes have been procured.
The spokesperson informed that since September 22, 2025, the Food and Civil Supplies Department has made the maximum procurement of paddy – 223,695.12 metric tonnes. HAFED has procured 117,705.84 metric tonnes, while the Haryana State Warehousing Corporation has purchased 35,771.05 metric tonnes.
It is noteworthy that paddy procurement at MSP fixed by the Central Government began in Haryana from September 22, 2025. Among the districts, Kurukshetra has recorded the highest procurement, with 168,949.60 metric tonnes of paddy arrivals and 146,651.10 metric tonnes purchased from a total of 12,787 registered farmers.
Paddy procurement in Haryana’s mandis and procurement centres is being carried out by the Food and Civil Supplies Department, HAFED, and the Haryana State Warehousing Corporation.
