769 Health Institutions in Haryana receive "Kayakalp" Award from Central Government

Haryana Health Minister Kumari Arti Singh Rao said that the quality of healthcare facilities in the state government health institutions is continuously improving. This progress is evident from the fact that the Central Government has awarded the "Kayakalp" award to 769 health institutions in Haryana this year, a significant increase from the 390 institutions that received the award last year.
In a statement issued here today, Rao shared that the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has released a list of the health institutions receiving the "Kayakalp" award. Among these, Kurukshetra District Hospital has been ranked first at the state level for the current financial year. In addition, 768 other institutions across Haryana have also been honored with the Kayakalp Award.
The Health Minister explained that the Kayakalp Award initiative was launched by the Government of India to recognize health institutions that demonstrate exemplary performance in maintaining cleanliness and promoting infection control practices.
