PHDCCI organized fourth edition of HR conclave at Hotel lalit, Chandigarh. Madhu Sudan Vig, Chair, Chandigarh Chapter of PHD Chamber said that HR must focus on cultivating a strong employee experience, where individuals feel valued, motivated, and empowered to contribute their best. Moreover, Praveen Gupta, MD, Premas Life Sciences while giving the keynote address shared valuable insights and perspectives on the importance of HR practices to meet the evolving needs of organizations. He talked about innovative approaches and strategies for reshaping HR practices.
On this occasion, Rajneesh Singh, Chair, HR Conclave 2024 and Managing Partner, Simply Group highlighted the various challenges and opportunities faced by HR professionals in adapting to the new normal and reimagining HR practices for the future. While moderating the session on Talent Management, Arun Raghav, Head HR and ER, Mahindra and Mahindra highlighted the significance of building a strong employer brand and creating a positive employee experience to attract and engage top talent.
During the sessionon "Role of Technology in HR" Mr Praveen Khatri, AVP, HR, HCLTech mentioned that the Technology is no more a luxury for the organization but has become a necessity. Technology plays a pivotal role in optimizing the use of human resource in organizations. The session on "Leadership is gender agnostic” was moderated by Advocate PoojaNayyar, Shementioned leadership qualities are not bound by gender; they are human traits that can be cultivated and shown by anyone, regardless of gender identity.
More than 100 HR Teams submitted their nominations for HR Excellence Recognition being organized by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with Simply Group for the first time, The Jury honoured 15 HR Teams for the best practices in different categories during the award function.
Naveen Seth, DSG, PHDCCI while giving the Vote of Thanks mentioned HR is the backbone of the organization and it is heartening to see the profound response of HR professionals to this event. Over 200 HR Professionals from Haryana Punjab Himachal and Chandigarh attended and benefitted from the Conclave.
