National Convenor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday campaigned for AAP candidate Ashok Parashar Pappi in Ludhiana. Kejriwal did a road show with the AAP candidate and appealed to elect the AAP candidate as MP.
Addressing the people, Kejriwal said that you have given a chance to all the parties. No one did anything for you nor raised your issues in the Parliament. This time, elect Ashok Parashar Pappi who will raise your issues in the Lok Sabha.
He appealed to the people to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party and said that voting for the BJP and Akali Dal means wasting your vote. Congress candidate Raja Warring is an outsider. He does not know anything about Ludhiana. Ashok Parashar Pappi understands the problems of the people of Ludhiana. He will raise your issues in the Parliament and fight for your rights.
Kejriwal told the people that you gave us 92 seats in the assembly elections and formed our government. Now make us strong at the center by giving us 13 MPs. Then we will solve all the issues related to the central government and get all the pending funds of Punjab released. Our MPs will become the voice of Punjab in the Parliament and will fight for the rights of Punjab.
Kejriwal targeted BJP and said that our government made electricity free in Delhi and Punjab. Whereas electricity is the most expensive in BJP ruled states. Still BJP people call me corrupt. You tell me whether the one who gives free electricity is corrupt or the one who gives costly electricity is corrupt.
Warning the people, he said that BJP people are plotting to stop your free electricity. Yesterday Amit Shah was in Ludhiana threatening the people of Punjab that on June 4, he will depose the 'AAP' government and remove Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Their main motive to topple the AAP government is to stop free electricity and mohalla clinics. Therefore, if you vote for BJP, your free electricity will stop, mohalla clinics will be closed and there will be no more schools of eminence.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is afraid of our work. He is afraid of us because he is not making electricity free. He did not build mohalla clinics. He did not work for education and I did all this work. Therefore, they implicated me in a fake case and put me in jail.
Kejriwal said that the arrogance of BJP leaders has increased so much that its national spokesperson Sambit Patra has called Lord Jagannath a devotee of Modi ji and Modi ji says in his interview that I am an incarnation of God. I was not born from my mother's womb. God has sent me directly to earth. You have to vote against their arrogance and defeat their big egos.
