Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania today presided over a review meeting on ongoing development works in the Shahpur area. The meeting was focused on various projects related to education and infrastructure within the Shahpur Assembly constituency.
Discussions were held on the construction of the Rajiv Gandhi Government Model Day-Boarding School in Rait, Kangra district, with officials informing that departmental approval for the project has already been accorded.
The meeting also reviewed the progress of the proposed Degree College in Rirkmar, Sub-Tehsil Darini, Tehsil Shahpur, Kangra district, and included a detailed discussion on the provision of funds for constructing an auditorium at Shahpur Government Degree College.
Kewal Singh Pathania directed the concerned departments to execute the projects in a time-bound manner with proper coordination, aiming to further strengthen educational facilities in the region.
Chief Architect of the Public Works Department Rajiv Sharma, Joint Director of Higher Education Rakesh Kumar along with other departmental officers were present in the meeting.
