New recruits bring the total number of recruitments in Dairy Development dept to 52 since 2022

Punjab Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian, on Thursday, handed over appointment letters to three newly recruited clerks in the Dairy Development department, bringing the total number of recruitments in the department to 52 since 2022. These appointments include 34 Inspector Grade-2 officers, 8 Clerks, 5 IT Clerks, 4 Stenotypists, and 1 Driver, significantly enhancing the department's operational efficiency and service delivery.
While congratulating the new recruits, Khudian exhorted them to work harder and diligently to excel in their roles. He emphasised that honesty and integrity are essential in public service. He further shared that the strengthening of the Dairy Development department is crucial for supporting our farmers and boosting the rural economy.
Highlighting the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab government's efforts to boost youth employment, Khudian informed that the state government has created a historic precedent in public service recruitment by providing over 55,000 government jobs to the youth, all executed with complete transparency and fairness.
