Food kits, water, ration along with fodder, straw and feed for animals were provided

Punjab Jail and Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar today distributed relief materials to the people of flood-affected areas and village Jalloke in Patti assembly constituency of Tarn Taran district.
Assuring that the grave damage caused by the river water will be compensated, he distributed relief materials like food kits, water, ration etc. to the needy people and also arranged fodder, straw and feed for animals.
On this occasion, Bhullar told the people that in view of the possibility of further increase in river water as per the latest rainfall situation, the district administration of Tarn Taran is making necessary arrangements for the affected people in the district. He said that the administration is also making necessary arrangements to transport people to camps set up in Guru Ghars of different villages.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet Minister said that in these difficult circumstances due to natural disasters, we should all help the flood victims like a family. He said that the Punjab government and the district administration are already doing relief work, along with this, social service organizations are also providing support to the people of the affected areas.
Cabinet Minister said that the Punjab government led by CM Bhagwant Singh Mann is standing with the affected people of the state in every difficulty. He said that the damage caused by the floods will be fully compensated. He said that the government, administration, social organizations and the common people are all together helping the affected people on a large scale.
He appealed that at this time everyone should rise above party politics and come together to help the needy people. “This is not a time for politics, but for humanity. When people are in trouble, it is our duty to stand with them and encourage them.”
