15.82 Lakh Farmers in Haryana Receive Installment; CM Saini Says PM Modi’s Leadership Bringing a New Era of Prosperity for Farmers
Nearly 16 lakh farmers in Haryana have received major financial relief. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a program held in Tamil Nadu, released the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, providing ₹18,000 crore to farmers across the country. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini joined the event virtually and expressed gratitude on behalf of the state’s farmers.
Speaking at the event, CM Saini said that the 21st installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi has been released today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that PM Modi’s guidance has ushered in a new era of prosperity and happiness for farmers across India.
15.82 lakh farmers in Haryana receive payment
CM Saini informed that a total of 15.82 lakh farmers in Haryana have received the installment directly into their bank accounts. In Palwal district alone, 74,299 farmers have received ₹14.86 crore under the scheme. He added that, in addition, farmers in Haryana have also been provided ₹15,728 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (Crop Insurance Scheme).
He said this financial assistance will help reduce the burden on farmers and support them in carrying out agricultural activities smoothly. The scheme has played a crucial role in providing economic stability to farmers, especially during times when farming costs continue to increase.
CM Saini further stated that the PM-KISAN scheme has brought positive changes to farmers’ lives. It not only eases their financial pressure but also motivates them toward becoming self-reliant. He assured that both the state and central governments are continuously working to strengthen the agricultural sector and will keep providing benefits to farmers through various schemes.
He extended his congratulations to all farmers who received the installment and urged them to make effective use of the financial support.
