A meeting of the Special High Powered Purchase Committee (SHPPC) was held under the chairpersonship of Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao. During this meeting, several key proposals aimed at upgrading health facilities in the state's civil hospitals were approved.
The committee granted approval to hire CT scan services for the Civil Hospitals in Mandi Khera (Nuh) and Rewari. Additionally, a significant decision was made to launch MRI scan services on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis in the Civil Hospitals of Mandi Khera (Nuh), Rewari, Hisar, Jind, Rohtak, and Charkhi Dadri.
Beyond diagnostic imaging, the meeting also provided the green light for mechanized and automated cleaning services in the district civil hospitals of Kurukshetra, Gurugram, and Jind. This move is intended to ensure a cleaner environment and provide patients with better overall surroundings.
Health Minister stated that the state government is committed to providing quality and affordable healthcare to all citizens. She directed the concerned departments to implement these approved projects in a time-bound manner while ensuring complete transparency and efficiency in the execution process. These initiatives are a major step toward the modernization of Haryana’s public health infrastructure, aiming to provide superior medical facilities for the people of the state.
