Pension camp will be organized from August 17: Harpreet Singh Sudan

AMRITSAR: The Punjab government is organizing pension camps from August 17 for the welfare of the elderly, disabled, widows and dependents of the state.

Giving this information, Deputy Commissioner Amritsar Mr. Harpreet Singh Sudan said that the welfare of Punjab government people these pension cases will be filed every Wednesday from August 17 to September, 2022. He said that these camps are being set up to bring this facility provided by the government to the lowest level, which will end the hardships of the people.

Mr. Sudan said that the district administration will set up pension camps in every block for the welfare of the needy in rural and urban areas. He said that this camp will be held from 9 am to 5 pm. He said that on August 17, Main Gurdwara Sahib, village Pandori Varaich, Block Verka is being installed.

The Deputy Commissioner said that a camp will be held on August 24 at Government Primary School Village Chetanpura (Block Harsha Chhina), August 31 at Rest House GT: Road Raia and Gurdwara Sahib Village Dehriwal (Block Tarsikka). Similarly, this camp will be organized on September 7 in front of Sri Jagdish Sadan, Raghunath Mandir Jandiala Guru and Punjab Institute of Textile Technology Guru Nanak Dev University.
He said that on September 14, a camp is being organized at Government School Village Talwandi Rai Dadu (Block Ajnala) and Gurdwara Village Kotha Sahib Village Valla.

He said that after this the camp will be held on September 21 at Gurdwara Sahib Village Mardi Kalan (Block Majitha) and Gurdwara Shaheedan Village Bohru (Block Attari).

Mr. Sudan said that this camp is being organized on September 28 at Namdhari Kanda near Government Senior Secondary School Village Bhindi Saidan (Block Chogawan) and Government Elementary School Kot Mahna Singh Tarn Taran Road. He appealed to all the residents of the district to take maximum advantage of these camps.
