Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh, July 16 -
HSSC Chairman Himmat Singh stated that the Commission prioritises conducting the recruitment process transparently and fairly, ensuring candidate satisfaction. Today, the physical examination for candidates who passed the Group C Joint Eligibility Test and have opted for constable general duty in Haryana Police began at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula and will continue until February 23.
Himmat Singh stated that 20 digital measurement stands have been set up for candidate satisfaction. Coaches from the Sports Department and other experts are stationed at each stand. Candidates can view their height and weight measurements on display boards at these digital stands. The first slot started at 6:30 AM, the second at 8:30 AM, the third at 10:30 AM, and the fourth at 12:30 PM. On the first day, 2000 candidates underwent the physical examination. Tomorrow, 3000 candidates will be examined, and from July 18 to 23, 5000 candidates per day will be tested. For the first phase, six times the number of candidates compared to the 5000 constable positions were called for the physical examination.
The Chairman said that the physical measurement process has been made foolproof, as soon as the candidate enters for measurements, their biometric details, including eye scans and videography, are recorded. This process is even repeated as they exit after the digital display.
