Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday assured strict action against those involved in examination paper leak cases, announcing that fast-track courts will be established to ensure the speedy disposal of such cases.
In a post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister said that safeguarding the interests and future of the country's youth remains the government's highest priority.
He stated that all individuals found guilty in paper leak cases would face stringent punishment at the earliest, adding that the concerned departments and officials have already been directed to take the necessary steps for setting up fast-track courts and expediting legal proceedings.
"The decisions being taken by the government are aimed at protecting the interests of students. Anyone who plays with the future of our youth will not be spared," the Prime Minister said.
The announcement comes amid an ongoing protest by students and youth at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi under the banner of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), where demonstrators are demanding stronger measures against recurring examination paper leaks and greater accountability.
