MoU Will Foster Close Cooperation in Training and Capacity Building: Deepti Uppal

To further streamline the functioning of the Local Government Department and ensure holistic development of Punjab's cities and towns, the PMIDC has signed a MoU with the HUDCO, under the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
PMIDC CEO Deepti Uppal and HUDCO Director of Corporate Planning M. Nagraj signed the MoU at Punjab Municipal Bhawan, Sector 35. Speaking on the occasion, Deepti Uppal stated that, as per the directions of CM Bhagwant Singh Mann and under the leadership of Local Government Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh, the department has been working closely with city residents. This MoU is part of a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing the department's efficiency and delivering better quality services to the public.
Deepti Uppal and M. Nagraj signed this Memorandum of Understanding for developing close cooperation in the field of training and capacity building. HUDCO's Human Settlements Management Institute (HSMI) will conduct such programmes in close collaboration with the Department of Local Government, Punjab for the Urban Local Bodies.
