Under the able leadership of CM Nayab Singh Saini Haryana govt has taken several significant steps for women development and empowerment. These efforts aim not only to provide equal opportunities for women in the society but also to make them self-reliant economically, socially, and politically. Initiatives for gender equality, 50 percent reservation in Panchayati Raj institutions, upliftment through Self Help Groups, and steps to improve the sex ratio have marked significant progress in women's empowerment.

Today, women in Haryana are actively advancing society and the state through their outstanding work in a variety of fields as a result of their efforts. Women are setting new milestones in a variety of fields, including sports, industry, education, and agriculture with their perseverance and hard work.

Many women are actively contributing by joining self-help groups. They made significant contributions in the handloom industry, sewing, embroidery, and other handicrafts. PM Narendra Modi, acknowledged this fact on his popular radio program 'Mann Ki Baat.' During the program, he mentioned the handloom industry in Rohtak district of Haryana and particularly praised the women of the 'Unnati Self Help Group,' who have taken steps towards economic self-reliance through their hard work and dedication.
