Punjab Government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle, transferring several IAS officers and assigning them new responsibilities with immediate effect.
Under the new orders, Manvesh Singh Sidhu has been appointed Administrative Secretary, Labour, along with additional charge of Secretary, Revenue & Rehabilitation and Managing Director of the Punjab Infrastructure Development Board. Girish Dayalan has been posted as Special Secretary, Jails.
Sanyam Aggarwal has been given additional charge as Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Punjab, and Managing Director of the Punjab State Cooperative Bank, while Vishesh Sarangal will also serve as Managing Director of MARKFED.
Sakshi Sawhney has been appointed Special Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, with additional responsibilities as Mission Director of the National Health Mission (Punjab) and Chief Administrator of PUDA. Preeti Yadav has also been assigned the additional charge of Special Secretary, Expenditure.
The government has directed all officers to assume their new assignments immediately.
