Punjab Govt to Launch Job Skill Camps for Women across state: Baljit Kaur

Dr. Baljit Kaur will launch the first camp on September 10 in Sri Muktsar Sahib

The Punjab Govt, under the leadership of CM Bhagwant Singh Mann, is taking significant steps toward empowering women and enhancing their participation in the workforce. In line with this commitment, the state will soon launch a series of Job Skill Camps across all districts. Cabinet Minister Baljit Kaur will launch the first camp on September 10, from district Sri Muktsar Sahib.

Speaking on this initiative Baljit Kaur, highlighted the Govt’s dedication to the welfare of women, children and the elderly. "The Punjab Govt places a high priority on improving the standard of living for women and these job skill camps are a pivotal step in that direction," said Dr. Kaur.

The camps, organized in collaboration with the Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Department, will be primarily hosted in educational institutions. These camps aim to equip women with the essential skills, knowledge and resources necessary to boost their employability and entrepreneurship, career advancement and job placement assistance.
