Seven examination centres for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) re-examination scheduled for June 21 in Chandigarh, has established, with seating arrangements made for around 3,800 candidates.
The administration has put in place extensive security and logistical measures to ensure the examination is conducted smoothly and securely.
To maintain the confidentiality and integrity of the examination, question papers and other sensitive materials will be transported from the designated bank to the examination centres under the strict security cover of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). Electronic jammers have also been installed at all centres to prevent any unauthorized communication during the exam.
Candidates will undergo a two-tier security screening before entering the examination halls. The first level of frisking will be carried out by the local police, while the second level will be conducted by a professional agency appointed by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Deputy Commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav reviewed the preparations on Friday and directed officials to ensure all necessary arrangements are in place. He said that adequate drinking water, seating facilities, proper lighting, ventilation, and sanitation services are being provided at every examination centre for the convenience of candidates.
The administration has also deployed duty magistrates at each centre to supervise the examination process, maintain law and order, and respond promptly to any emergency situation.
Candidates have been advised to carry their admit cards along with a valid government-issued photo identity card and to reach their respective examination centres at least one hour before the commencement of the test.
