CM Saini holds meeting and issues directions to officials regarding the outline of the campaign
Various departments will organize programmes across the state during Sewa Pakhwada

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini said that from 17th September to 2nd October, “Sewa Pakhwada” will be observed across the state. During this period, many public service programmes, welfare schemes, cleanliness drives, and other programmes of the central and state governments will be carried out.
The Chief Minister today chaired an important meeting with senior officials of various departments. Ministers also joined the meeting virtually and shared their suggestions regarding the programmes.
Saini said that for the last 11 years, under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, new schemes and projects have been implemented for public welfare, from which the people of the country are benefitting today. Inspired by the life philosophy of the Prime Minister, during Sewa Pakhwada, the spirit of service among the people will be strengthened. We all must work together to make Sewa Pakhwada a success, he added.
The Chief Minister directed officials that all departments should make full preparations for the fortnight. During this period, the Health Department will organize medical check-up camps. The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment will hold programmes for the welfare of differently-abled persons, and other departments will organize cleanliness campaigns and 'shramdaan' (voluntary labour) programmes.
He said that during Sewa Pakhwada, blood donation camps, plastic-free campaigns and tree plantation drives will also be organized.The Chief Minister instructed the officials to hold special programmes during the Sewa Pakhwada to take the welfare schemes of their respective departments to the grassroots level and ensure maximum public participation in these events.
He said that many projects have been completed, and a list of such projects should be prepared so that they can be dedicated to the people during the Sewa Pakhwada. He added that since the Sewa Pakhwada will run for more than two weeks, every department should organize one major programme in each district. Along with this, all departments should also collectively hold programmes across the state. The purpose of the fortnight is to give priority to public service, so in all events, public welfare and public service should remain paramount.
In the meeting, senior officials of various departments presented a detailed outline of the programmes to be organized during the fortnight.
