3 DIGs also changed, 3 senior SPs given charge of DIG, Harjeet Singh appointed DIG of Mohali Vigilance Bureau

The Punjab government has made a major reshuffle in the police department and transferred 23 IPS officers and 4 PPS officers. According to the information, SSPs of 14 districts of Punjab have also been changed. As per the order of the Home Department, the SSPs who have been transferred include Mohali, Patiala, Bathinda, Fazilka, Mansa, Moga, Malekotla, Pathankot, Muktsar, Faridkot, Tarn Taran, Batala, Amritsar Rural and Jalandhar Rural.
According to the order, along with the SSPs of 14 districts, 3 DIGs have also been changed and 3 senior SPs have been given the charge of DIG. Apart from this, Harjeet Singh has been appointed as DIG Vigilance Bureau SAS Nagar Mohali, Satinder Singh as DIG Border Range Amritsar and Ashwani Kapoor as DIG Faridkot Range.
Darpan Ahluwalia has been appointed as Staff Officer to DGP.
