Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini said that the state government and administration are fully alert regarding the rainy season and prepared to deal with any situation. The government is making all efforts so that no citizen faces any loss. He appealed to the public to remain cautious during such weather and avoid going to hilly areas.
The Chief Minister was talking to journalists on Sunday at Dronacharya Sports Stadium in Kurukshetra. He also played volleyball with the players in the sports complex. CM said that PM Narendra Modi has enhanced the nation’s honour at the global level and helped the needy and poor. The opposition cannot digest this.
He said that the land of Bihar has given the world Lord Buddha, produced a great strategist like Chanakya, and been blessed as the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, who spread the light of wisdom and courage. On such sacred land, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s remarks are inappropriate. He should apologize to the nation.
The Chief Minister said the opposition should talk about the development works and achievements done during their tenure. If they had worked then, they would not be blaming EVMs today. He added that the public has rejected the Congress, while Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has brought unprecedented development and global respect for the country in the last 11 years.
On a question about the Israel war, he said that loss of life and property is inevitable in war. On being asked about tariffs, he said that the country’s leadership is in strong hands and India has the ability to deal with any situation. The GDP is improving continuously, and national highways, railways, universities, and many development works are progressing rapidly in the country.

The Chief Minister said that before elections, a promise was made in the manifesto to provide ₹2,100 to women, and for this, a provision of ₹5,000 crore has been made in this year’s budget. Now, on 25 September, the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the Deendayal Lado Laxmi Yojana portal will be launched. Women can apply through this portal. In the first phase, 20 lakh women will get benefits. After this, the second and third phase will also be launched. He said that Congress governments had also announced such schemes for women, but in states ruled by Congress, no such scheme has been started.
Sewa Pakwada to begin on PM’s birthday
The Chief Minister said that 17th September is the birthday of PM, and from this day, Sewa Pakwada (Service Fortnight) will be started. Through this, services will be provided to the poor, needy, and differently-abled. Welfare societies, traders, and other organizations will be included in this campaign, which will continue till 2nd October, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. He appealed to people to adopt this campaign in their daily lives. On this occasion, former Minister Subhash Sudha, Ambala Commissioner Sanjeev Verma, and other dignitaries were present.
