Chief Electoral Officer appeals to voters, vote on 25th May to strengthen democracy
Voters are being made aware so that the voting percentage increases

Haryana Chief Electoral Officer Anurag Agarwal, stated that the Election Department is completely prepared for the Lok Sabha General Elections scheduled in Haryana on May 25, 2024. In addition to this, all departments involved in the election process have been issued directions as per the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India.
He mentioned that efforts are being made to educate voters through various means in the state so that voter turnout in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024 surpasses that of the previous Lok Sabha Elections in 2019. He emphasized that India is already part of the world's largest democratic system and the entire world is watching as India holds parliamentary elections before 17 other countries in 2024.
Anurag Agarwal stated that every country wishes for India's unbiased and transparent electoral process to be implemented in their own country. Several election commissions of other countries have visited India and acquired information related to the conduct of elections.
He further said that India, being the world's largest democracy, has governance by the people, for the people, and of the people. Therefore, every voter must participate in the elections. It is mandatory for voters to maintain the confidentiality of their vote and they should cast their vote without any pressure or inducement.
Agarwal appealed to voters to come out of their homes on May 25, 2024, and cast their votes at the polling stations. He encouraged them to celebrate the day of voting like a festival and participate with full enthusiasm. It is only by casting our votes that we can strengthen democracy.
