CHANDIGARH: The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, has invited online applications from the children, individuals, and institutions by September 15, 2020 for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar - 2021. The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar was established to honour the meritorious children, individuals, and institutions of the country. These awards are given under two categories - Bal Shakti Puraskar and Bal Kalyan Puraskar.
Sharing more information an official spokesperson said that the Bal Shakti Puraskar will be given to the children who have made special achievements in fields of sports, art and culture, social work and bravery etc. They will be given a cash amount of Rs one lakh, medal and appreciation certificate as prize. Apart from this, the Bal Kalyan Puraskar will be given to those individuals and institutions that have done excellent work in the field of welfare, development and safety of children. Under this award, cash amount and medal and certificate of Rs 5 lakh will be given. He said that for more information, the website of the Ministry can be viewed at www.nca-wcd.nic.in.
