CM attends the meeting

To accelerate the development of highway infrastructure in Haryana, several road projects related to the NHAI will now be expedited. A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi regarding road projects related to Haryana. CM Nayab Singh Saini and Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Harsh Malhotra along with senior officers from the central and state govt's attended this meeting.
In the meeting, meaningful discussions were held on issues related to removing the Kherki Daula Toll Plaza, preparing a new ring road for Kurukshetra, and connecting Jewar International Airport to Faridabad-Ballabgarh Bypass from Mohna.
In the meeting, the Gadkari said plans to explore the possibilities of creating bird parks near the National Highways. Approximately four acres of land will be required for this.
The CM suggested that garbage waste and fly ash from electricity plants could be more effectively utilised for road construction. He said that applications can be made on the portal of the Haryana government for soil-related works in National Highway projects, and efforts will be made to fulfill the availability of soil.
