Professor J.P. Yadav, Vice-Chancellor of Indira Gandhi University (IGU), Mirpur, Rewari, today met with Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, to discuss various developments at the university. During the meeting, Professor Yadav presented a detailed report on the ongoing construction and infrastructure projects at IGU.
The Vice-Chancellor also discussed the creation of new academic and non-academic staff positions at the university, aimed at strengthening the institution’s workforce. Additionally, Professor Yadav informed the Chief Minister about the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 for the upcoming academic session, highlighting its potential impact on the university’s curriculum and teaching methodologies.
In a gesture of goodwill, Professor Yadav extended a formal invitation to the Chief Minister to visit the university, aiming to further strengthen the university-government collaboration.
