WhatsApp is preparing to roll out a new feature aimed at helping users manage spam messages and unnecessary notifications more effectively. Business accounts often flood inboxes with offers and updates, making it difficult for users to keep track of important conversations. To address this issue, the company is working on a new chat filtering feature.
According to reports, the feature is being designed primarily for Android users. It will automatically separate business chats into a different section. This means that messages from business accounts will eventually be moved out of the main inbox into a separate list, helping users keep their chat box clean and making personal messages easier to find.
When Will the Feature Be Available?
The feature is currently in the development stage and has not yet been released even in the beta version. However, it is expected to be introduced in upcoming updates. Reports suggest that once activated, business messages could be automatically shifted to a separate section after 24 hours.
This feature is likely to benefit users who receive frequent promotional messages daily, making it easier to focus on important notifications without constant interruptions.
