Integrated Online Portal of Health Department to Bring Transparency in Functioning: Arti Singh

CM Saini to Inaugurate portal tomorrow

Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh—

Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao said that the state government is taking a major step towards transparency and effective use of technology in the administration of health services. She informed that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will inaugurate an integrated online portal for health professionals tomorrow, January 28.

The Health Minister said that this portal reflects the Haryana Government’s commitment to transparent, technology-driven and citizen-centric governance. She said that doctors and healthcare workers serve society with dedication and responsibility, and it is the government’s duty to ensure that administrative processes make their work easier rather than wasting their time and energy.

Arti Singh Rao said that the portal will be implemented in a phased and inclusive manner. In the first phase, starting January 28, 2026, the portal will be available for professionals associated with medical, dental, pharmacy, AYUSH and homeopathy streams. In the next phase, it will be extended to nursing and physiotherapy professionals. She said the government aims to create a unified digital platform for all health professionals in Haryana.

The Health Minister said that a completely paperless system is being implemented through this portal. Indian medical graduates will no longer be required to send documents by post. All applications and verification processes will be conducted online, providing relief from postal delays, risk of loss of documents, repeated follow-ups and unnecessary visits to offices. This system will be especially beneficial for young doctors.

She said that through this portal, regulatory documents such as No Objection Certificates (NOC), Good Standing Certificates and Registration Certificates will now be issued digitally. These certificates will be sent directly to the applicant’s registered email and will be available for immediate download.

The Health Minister said that all certificates issued through the portal will also be integrated with DigiLocker, enabling secure digital storage, authenticity and easy use across institutions, and eliminating the need for repeated uploads or physical copies of documents. She also informed that a mobile app for this portal will be launched in the near future, enabling doctors and health professionals to access services anytime and from anywhere.

Highlighting future plans, the Health Minister said that the government plans to develop this portal as an AI-enabled system. Under this initiative, AI-based chatbots will provide quick guidance and solutions to common issues. Arti Singh Rao said that this initiative represents a modern model of paperless, transparent, secure, efficient and doctor-centric governance, aligned with the vision of Digital India and ease of doing professional work.

She assured doctors and health professionals in the state that this platform has been designed keeping their convenience and interests in mind, and that continuous improvements will be made based on their suggestions. The Health Minister said that this initiative marks the beginning of a new chapter in health administration in Haryana, where technology will simplify processes and governance will become more responsive.
