A man has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife in the Sahib Kunj area of Gurugram. The accused, identified as Sunil, is said to have attacked his wife with a cylinder, leading to her death.
Police from Bajghera Police Station took the accused into custody after registering a case and carrying out an investigation. The victim has been identified as Gunjan.
According to police, Sunil is a resident of Kancha village in Samastipur. The complaint in the case was filed by the landlord, Rambilas, who had rented out a room to Sunil on March 20. The room was given on the recommendation of Sunil’s brother-in-law, Jeevan, who was also staying there.
Police said that on March 25, Gunjan was found dead in the room in a blood-soaked condition. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested on March 27.
Further investigation is underway to determine the exact motive behind the crime.
