Amid the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, gold and silver prices have continued their downward trend in the domestic market.
According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold fell by ₹2,490 on Friday, bringing it down to ₹1.44 lakh. Earlier this week, on Wednesday, gold was priced at ₹1.46 lakh per 10 grams.
Silver prices also witnessed a significant decline. The rate of one kilogram of silver dropped by ₹9,114, settling at ₹2.25 lakh. On March 25, silver was trading at ₹2.35 lakh per kilogram.
Over the past 28 days, the impact of geopolitical tensions—particularly the U.S.-Iran conflict—has been evident in bullion markets. During this period, gold prices have declined by ₹15,382, while silver has seen a sharp fall of ₹41,000.
