Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR, Chandigarh, Haryana and other parts of northern India on Friday evening after a strong 5.9 quake rocked Afghanistan. The tremors, which lasted a few seconds, occurred at 9:46 pm. The epicentre of the earthquake was near Darawan at 71.01 degrees E and 36.52 degrees N.
