The Indian Medical Association has issued a warning to the Haryana Government over non-payment of dues under the Ayushman scheme. Due to delayed payments, private hospitals have indicated that they may stop providing treatment under Ayushman cards in the state.
Meanwhile, in Punjab, the government claims that under the Chief Minister Sehat Scheme, every family is receiving free treatment worth up to ₹10 lakh. Officials state that more than 35 lakh families have already registered under the scheme.
AAP Punjab General Secretary Baltej Pannu criticized Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, saying he frequently questions the functioning of the Punjab government but is not paying enough attention to issues within Haryana.
Pannu further claimed that healthcare services under the Ayushman card in Haryana are nearly on the verge of collapse and urged the Chief Minister to focus on resolving the state’s challenges.
