Budget session of Haryana VS : Pay tributes to former minister, prominent personalities and Martyrs

On the first of the Budget session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha which commenced here today, obituary resolutions were passed to pay rich tributes to Kanwal Singh, former Minister of Haryana, Martyrs of Haryana, and those prominent personalities who have expired between the period from the end of the previous session and the beginning of this session.
Leader of the House and Chief Minister Manohar Lal paid tributes and read out the obituary resolutions. Vidhan Sabha Speaker Gian Chand Gupta also read the obituary resolutions and paid tributes to the departed souls.

Leader of the Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda also read the obituary resolutions on behalf of his party. The House conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families.
The House gave a tearful farewell to 9 brave Martyrs of Haryana who showed indomitable courage and made the supreme sacrifice while safeguarding the unity and integrity of the motherland. These include, Inspector Jagmahender Singh of village Ismaila, District Rohtak, Subedar Jangsher Singh of village Karsola, District Jind, Havildar Satyawan Singh of village Mohangarh Chhapra, District Jind, Lance Naik Abhay Ram of village Chehra, District Jhajjar, Lance Naik Ashish of village Jhagroli, District Mahendragarh, Leading Aircraftman Nitin Kumar of village Badhwana, District Charkhi Dadri, Paratrooper Tejpal of village Bhiduki, District Palwal, Sepoy Sanjay Yadav of village Nuni Awal, District Mahendragarh and Sepoy Ravinder Singh of village Pota, District Mahendragarh.
Apart from this, the House also expressed deep sorrow for the sad demise of Bhale Ram, father of Dharambir Singh, MP, Haji Sultan Khan, father-in-law of Mamman Khan, MLA, Kesari, mother-in-law of Lila Ram, MLA and Kamla Devi aunt of Amit Sihag, MLA.
