Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision is to make India a developed nation by the year 2047. Haryana is committed to achieving this goal and reaching the people with the welfare policies of the central and state governments, he said.
The Chief Minister said Pradhan Mantri Samajik Utthan evam Rozgar Adharit Jankalyan (PM-SURAJ) portal will prove effective for the economic upliftment of marginalized communities' women and men. The Prime Minister inaugurated the Suraj portal on Wednesday through video conferencing.
The Chief Minister distributed Namste ID and Ayushman card to sewerman Gurjeet Singh, Jagdeep Singh Sainti, Rajesh Kumar, and Jaswinder of Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran, Panchkula under the Namaste Mitra Scheme.
The Chief Minister said that the Haryana government's effort is to make women and men belonging to marginalized communities to become self-reliant by adopting self-employment, and they should apply for loans through the Suraj portal for this purpose.
During this, the Chief Minister also shared the experiences of women and men who are prospering economically through self-employment benefiting from the government's schemes.
A woman apprised the Chief Minister that due to financial difficulties, she was facing financial troubles. Then she started work as a tailor through a government scheme, not only successfully she improved her financial condition but also provided employment to many other young women.
The Chief Minister praised the women and men who are on the path of prosperity by adopting self-employment and urged others to take inspiration from them.
