Ensure visible change on ground through prompt completion of projects, Rao tells officials

Haryana Health and AYUSH Minister Arti Singh Rao said the departmental officers of Rewari district should discharge their responsibilities with complete sincerity. While reviewing the progress of departmental works, she told the officers that developmental works should be completed promptly so that visible changes can be seen in Rewari district.
On Tuesday, the Health Minister held a meeting in Rewari with the concerned officers regarding development works and public welfare initiatives related to the district. Rewari MLA Laxman Singh Yadav and Bawal MLA Dr. Krishan Kumar, along with other dignitaries, were also present in the meeting.
Health Minister said that she is the daughter of Rampura village, which is in Rewari district. Hence, since Rewari is both her birth and workplace, she will remain fully committed to the upliftment of this district. She said that in the coming days, Rewari district should reflect visible development, and for this, all works must be carried out in a well-planned manner. While discussing in detail about city cleanliness and waste management in the meeting, she directed the officials of the Urban Local Bodies Department to play their role effectively in the urban sanitation campaign. Along with this, officials were also instructed to continuously monitor the cleanliness system in the city. She said that all heads of departments should also ensure cleanliness of their offices so that by October 2, all government offices, along with the urban areas of our district, appear in a new look.
Regarding development works included in the prepared agenda, the Health Minister directed the concerned officers to ensure improvement of roads, saying the rainy season is now over, so all roads of the district should be repaired, and construction of new roads should also be ensured to start as soon as possible. She ordered special attention to be given to the quality of construction material used in road construction works. She also inquired about proper solutions for the problem of waterlogging in the new residential areas of the city. She directed the officials of Haryana Urban Development Authority to remove encroachments from the Rezangla Park area. She instructed all departmental officers that wherever any department carries out construction work, the project details should be displayed on a board at the site with the names and phone numbers of the concerned officers, so that the general public can also get detailed information about the project.
The Health Minister gave instructions to the officers regarding proper implementation of the Parivar Pehchan Patra. She said that it should be ensured that the welfare services of the government are provided within the prescribed time limit. Directions were also given to resolve the encroachment issue near Nai Wali flyover on Rampura Road and to beautify the roundabout.
During the review regarding Masani Barrage, the Health Minister said that the Public Health and Irrigation Department should work in a planned manner together so that clean water comes into Masani Barrage and the dirty water from STP does not flow into the barrage.
Arti Singh Rao said after the rainy season, the Health Department is fully alert to prevent waterborne diseases. She informed that for the prevention of dengue and other seasonal diseases, the department has already made adequate medicines available in all hospitals across the state. Along with this, instructions have also been given for fogging. She further informed that across Haryana, the department is playing its role with better health management.
