1,87,743.49 Metric Tonnes of Paddy Procured So Far from Haryana Mandis

Kurukshetra leads with maximum procurement of 82,760.48 metric tonnes

During the Kharif procurement season-2025, a total of 1,87,743.49 metric tonnes of paddy has been procured from the mandis of Haryana. Out of this, 25,000 metric tonnes has already been lifted from mandis/purchase centres. Giving details, a spokesperson of the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs said paddy has been procured from about 20,147 farmers across the state so far.

All these farmers are registered on the ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ portal. Till now, a total of 3,17,881.56 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived in the mandis of Haryana.

It is noteworthy that the procurement of paddy at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) fixed by the Government of India commenced in Haryana from September 22, 2025. So far, the maximum procurement has taken place in Kurukshetra district, where 82,760.48 metric tonnes of paddy have been purchased against an arrival of 1,13,582.72 metric tonnes.

The spokesperson further informed that in the mandis of Ambala district, paddy arrival has been 67,660.73 metric tonnes, of which 45,605.76 metric tonnes has been procured. Similarly, in the mandis of Yamunanagar district, paddy arrival has been 42,301.91 metric tonnes, and procurement of 22,942.57 metric tonnes has been completed. The procurement of paddy from mandis/purchase centres is being carried out by the Department of Food and Civil Supplies, HAFED, and the Haryana State Warehousing Corporation.
