Indian Army showcases decisive response to terror attacks, warns enemy against mistaking restraint for weakness
The Indian Army on Thursday released a powerful new video on “Operation Sindoor”, underlining India’s firm resolve against terrorism and warning hostile forces not to misread the nation’s restraint as weakness. The three-minute film reinforces what the Army described as a “new normal” in dealing with barbaric and cowardly terror attacks aimed at dividing the country.
Shared on the Army’s official social media platforms, the video was also screened during the Army Day Parade in Jaipur, held under the leadership of Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi. The film traces the painful history of major terror strikes on Indian soil, including the 2001 Parliament attack, 2002 Akshardham Temple attack, 2008 Mumbai attacks, 2016 Uri attack, 2019 Pulwama strike, and the 2025 Pahalgam terror attack, which eventually triggered the Armed Forces’ decisive response.
Through sharp visuals and strong captions, the video states that these attacks were not just assaults on India, but attacks on humanity itself. It highlights how repeated provocations tested India’s patience and resolve, ultimately leading to the execution of Operation Sindoor.
Describing the Armed Forces’ response during the May 7–10, 2025 operation as “measured, responsible and decisive,” the video notes that India struck hard while maintaining strategic restraint. “India struck hard, dispensing justice with accuracy,” the caption reads, asserting that the enemy’s mistake lay in assuming India’s patience to be weakness.
The film shows satellite images comparing “then and now” views of damaged terror camps and Pakistani airbases across the Line of Control, along with visuals of India’s air defence systems successfully intercepting drone attacks during night operations. It also highlights Pakistan Army’s alleged support to anti-India terror groups by showing visuals of Pakistani military officials attending funerals of terrorists killed during Operation Sindoor.
The Army said that during Operation Sindoor, the Indian Armed Forces created history with unmatched courage, valour and unwavering resolve, demonstrating India’s zero tolerance towards terrorism, its sponsors and nuclear blackmail. The video ends with a clear warning: any future misadventure will come at a heavy cost.
