Congress Party will provide every possible assistance to the families affected by this tragedy: Former Health Minister

Former Health Minister and senior Punjab Congress leader, Balbir Singh Sidhu expressed his condolences over the massive explosion at an oxygen cylinder plant in Mohali's industrial area. In a press statement, Sidhu said, “I am deeply saddened to learn about the tragic explosion, which has claimed two innocent lives and left several others injured.”
He further added, “My heartfelt condolences go out to the families of the deceased, and I pray for the speedy recovery of all those injured. The Congress Party and I stand with the victims and their families during this difficult time. We will extend all possible assistance to ensure that the injured receive proper medical treatment and that the families of the deceased are provided with every necessary support.”
Sidhu demanded immediate compensation for the affected families from the Punjab Government and said, “The families of the deceased and the injured should be provided with adequate compensation without any delay. The injured must be given free medical treatment.”
Sidhu also appealed to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to personally ensure that families are getting all the help. He said, “The CM should immediately intervene and provide proper compensation to the families.”
