Bibi Jagir Kaur congratulated Amir Singh on becoming the President of Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee

AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Bibi Jagir Kaur congratulated Amir Singh on becoming the President of Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.

She said that there were many Gurdwaras of Sikh historical significance in Pakistan which were being maintained by Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.

Jagir Kaur said that the management body of these Sikh shrines was the responsibility of the President of Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee. Guru Sahib has given Amir Singh a chance to work.
She hoped that in addition to managing gurdwaras in accordance with Panthic morality, Amir Singh would continue to take a serious approach to the issues of Sikh minorities living in Pakistan and serve the sentiments of the sangat around the world.

He also congratulated Vikas Singh on his appointment as General Secretary of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.

Bibi Jagir Kaur said that the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, a religious body representing the Sikh community, would continue to extend all possible support to the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PGPC) working for the preservation of historical shrines in Pakistan.

He also lauded the services rendered by Satwant Singh.
