Punjab Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur today visited flood-affected areas near Chand Bhan Drain, village Noor Shah in Fazilka district, where she personally distributed relief material and encouraged the victims. She was accompanied by Fazilka MLA Narinderpal Singh Sawna and former Abohar MLA Arun Narang.
Interacting with the affected families, Dr. Baljit Kaur said that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, is fully committed to assisting flood victims, and there is no shortage of funds for relief operations. She informed that in Fazilka constituency alone, relief material worth more than 70 lakh has already been distributed, which includes 4,558 ration kits and 2,017 bags of cattle feed.
