The Central University of Punjab, under the patronage of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari, inaugurated the Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 with an Integrity Pledge Ceremony on October 27, 2025. The event aimed to foster the values of integrity, transparency, and accountability among university employees. It witnessed the participation of around 150 faculty members, non-teaching staff, and officials led by Registrar Dr. Vijay Sharma and Vigilance Officer Prof. (Dr.) Anjana Munshi.
During the ceremony, Dr. Vijay Sharma, Registrar, administered the Vigilance Pledge to the faculty and non-teaching staff, urging all employees to uphold the highest standards of integrity and contribute towards building a corruption-free work environment.
Additionally, Mr. Pavit Kumar, Estate Officer, led the outsourced staff in taking the Integrity Pledge, motivating them to adopt transparent practices and foster a culture of honesty and accountability in their respective roles.
In her address, Prof. (Dr.) Anjana Munshi, Vigilance Officer, expressed gratitude to all participants for their active involvement and encouraged faculty members to engage students in the forthcoming activities planned as part of Vigilance Awareness Week, scheduled from October 27 to November 2, 2025. She emphasized that such initiatives play a vital role in nurturing a culture of vigilance, ethical conduct, and good governance across all levels of the institution.
