97 development announcements completed in Nalwa; Work on 7 projects underway
48 Sankalps fulfilled, 90 more to be completed by year-end – Saini
Chief Minister inaugurates and lays foundation stones for Rs 22 Crore development projects

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini said that the pace of development in the Nalwa region has accelerated threefold compared to the Congress regime. While the current government has completed development projects worth Rs 1,168 crore in the Nalwa Assembly constituency since 2014, only Rs 377 crore was spent during the Congress government’s 10-year tenure. The Chief Minister highlighted that a total of 120 announcements were made for the Nalwa constituency over the past 11 years, of which 97 have been completed and work on 7 is progressing rapidly.
The Chief Minister was addressing the people at a public meeting held in Nalwa, Hisar today.
He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, the Haryana government is continuously driving development, following the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.” He added that 48 of the 217 Sankalps made to the public before the elections have been fulfilled in just one year, with 90 more expected to be completed by year-end. For Hisar district specifically, five major Sankalps have been made, including the establishment of an industrial cluster, the expansion of Hisar Airport as an international cargo hub, the construction of a ceramic park, the creation of a guava processing and packaging plant, and a new 800 MW thermal power plant, all of which the state government is rapidly pursuing.
Current government leads in farmer relief, compensation 13 times higher than Congress
Taking a dig at the Congress, the Chief Minister said that during their 10-year tenure, only Rs 1,155 crore was released to farmers as crop loss compensation. In contrast, the current BJP government has transferred Rs 15,465 crore to farmers’ accounts for crop loss compensation during its tenure.
Farmers’ welfare is the government’s priority, Prosperity our goal
Referring to the Haryana government’s decision to fix the sugarcane support price at Rs. 415 per quintal, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasized that farmers’ welfare remains at the core of the current government’s policies. He stated that all crops in the state are now being purchased at the minimum support price. He informed that, so far, Rs1,48,000 crore has been transferred to the accounts of 12 lakh farmers as crop purchase payments. He also highlighted that farmers have been provided relief through the abolition of the Abiana system, a legacy from the British Raj. Further, Chief Minister pointed out that Haryana now offers the highest social security pension in the country, recently increased from Rs 3,000 to Rs3,200 per month. Additionally, the “Deendayal Lado Laxmi Yojana” has been launched, under which poor women will receive monthly financial assistance of Rs 2,100 starting November 1.
Strong steps towards a self-reliant India with ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Make in India’
Referring to the current government’s development and welfare initiatives, Chief Minister said that PM has pledged to make India a developed nation by 2047. To achieve this goal, the Prime Minister has emphasized the importance of ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Make in India’, while strengthening the economy through GST reforms.
