Govt Hospitals Will Be Upgraded as per Requirement: Arti Rao

Rs 40.40Cr Approved for Hospital Upgradation in Mahendragarh and Bahadurgarh

Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao said hospitals across the state will be upgraded as per requirement. The state government aims to provide affordable and accessible healthcare services near every citizen’s home. She informed that approval of approximately Rs 40.40 crore has been granted for the upgradation and construction of hospitals in Mahendragarh and Bahadurgarh.

The Health Minister said under the leadership of CM Nayab Singh Saini, the state government is continuously strengthening the healthcare infrastructure and installing modern medical equipment in hospitals. She informed that the 50-bed hospital in Mahendragarh will be upgraded and reconstructed into a 100-bed hospital. For this, the revised cost of Rs 2,301.01 lakh has been approved.

Similarly, approval of Rs 17.37 crore has been granted to complete the remaining works related to the upgradation of the Civil Hospital in Bahadurgarh.Arti Singh Rao added that she has directed the department to ensure that any healthcare institution requiring and eligible for upgradation should be upgraded at the earliest so that people can benefit.
