Haryana Cooperation Minister, Banwari Lal Said That In The Coming Time, Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS) Will Be Computerized So As To Ensure That The Records Are Digitalized. He Said That Computerization Will Make The Work....

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Cooperation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal said that in the coming time, Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS) will be computerized so as to ensure that the records are digitalized. He said that computerization will make the work more transparent.

The Minister said this while addressing the 35th Annual General Meeting of Cooperative Bank in Bhiwani today where he was the Chief Guest. On this occasion, Dr. Ranga said that through Cooperative Bank, State Government gives benefits of many welfare schemes being run by both State and Central Government, including pension. He said that the through Cooperative Bank, PACS also provides fertilizer and seeds to farmers in the villages.

The Minister said that farmers need to be made aware to make timely repayment of loan. He said that farmers can increase their income by joining loans the cooperative banks and loans from them. He said that the collateral-free loans up to Rs. 1.60 lakh are being given to the farmers on Pashu Dhan Credit Cards. He directed the bank officers to publicize the schemes related to the bank so that more and more people can avail the schemes.

While, presenting the progress report of the bank in the meeting, General Manager, Mr. Suresh Pal said that as per the instructions given by the State Government, Pashu Dhan Credit Cards scheme has been implemented by the bank. He shared that applications of 425 farmers have been received.

Apart from this, the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, and Atal Pension Yojana etc. are being provided to the eligible people. During the programme, Dr. Banwari Lal also honoured loyal and hardworking employees and managers of PACS.
