Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya pays obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib

AMRITSAR: The Governor of Haryana Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya along with his family paid obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib Sri Darbar Sahib today here today.

Expressing his sentiments, the Governor of Haryana, who visited Sri Darbar Sahib, the center of Sikh faith, said that today's visit to Amritsar was a lasting memory of his life.

He said that Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib is a spiritual center for all mankind, from where the Sikh Gurus have conveyed the message of universal communion. The sacred atmosphere here gives peace to humanity while creating spirituality.

Praising the Sikhs on the occasion, he said that Sikhs have made a great contribution to the defense of the country which cannot be forgotten. "I am taking new energy from here and I pray to God that the country saves the world from the Corona epidemic and makes progress," he said.
After visiting the Golden Temple, Governor Bandaru Dattatreya was received at the Information Center by the General Secretary of the SGPC Advocate Bhagwant Singh Sialka, Member Bhai Ram Singh, Deputy Secretary Mr Kulwinder Singh Ramdas, Manager Gurinder Singh Mathrewal and Superintendent Malkit Singh Bahirwal honored Guru Bakhshish Siropao with a golden model of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib.
Family members and officials present on the occasion were also honored with titles.
Apart from the officials who accompanied the Governor on the occasion, Tehsildar Lakhwinderpal Singh, Police Officer. Parminder Singh Bhandal, S. Harpal Singh Randhawa, Information Officer Harinder Singh Romi, Amritpal Singh,. Sartaj Singh, Randhir Singh, Jatinderpal Singh etc. were present.
