Haryana Tourism to hold Open Meet on March 10 to Boost Tourism, Invite Stakeholders for  Operations

With an aim to strengthen tourism infrastructure and enhance revenue from tourism assets, the Haryana Tourism Corporation will organise an Open Meet on March 10, 2026, inviting key stakeholders from the hospitality and event management sectors to explore opportunities for operating tourism properties on lease basis.

The initiative is being undertaken in line with the vision of Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini and Tourism and Heritage Minister, Dr. Arvind Sharma, to promote tourism in the state and increase income through the effective utilisation of tourism department resorts, banquet halls and other hospitality infrastructure.

Divulging more details in this regard, Director, Tourism Department,  Parth Gupta, the Open Meet will focus on discussions regarding the operation and management of various Haryana Tourism destinations, including banquet halls, convention centres and lawns, through the lease model.

He said that the meeting will bring together leading contractors, event management companies, hospitality operators, caterers, wedding planners and other interested stakeholders, providing them with a platform to share their ideas and explore collaborative opportunities with the Tourism Corporation.

Parth Gupta further informed that suggestions from the participants will also be invited during the meeting so that a practical and effective strategy can be developed for the better management and optimal utilisation of tourism properties across the state.

He said that the Haryana Tourism Corporation will proceed with the process of leasing these centres in accordance with the Tourism Leasing Policy of 2008. This step is expected to give a significant boost to tourism-related activities, improve the utilisation of tourism infrastructure, increase the Corporation’s revenue and provide better venues and modern facilities for citizens and visitors alike, said Sh. Parth Gupta.
