Himachal : Goals are achieved with strong will and hard work: CM

CM attends 'Medhavi Chatra Sammaan Samaroh' ;  Felicitates 222 students, announces Rs 25,000 each from discretionary fund

 Punjab Newsline, Shimla, August 6-

CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today felicitated 222 board toppers of class 10th and 12th of HPBSE by giving them medals and certificates. These include 92 toppers of class 10th and 90 toppers of class 12th, while 40 toppers of various schools of Shimla city were also felicitated during an event organised by a national daily Hindi newspaper here today.

The CM announced Rs 25,000 each to all the meritorious students from his discretionary fund and congratulated all achievers. Encouraging the students, he said: "Any person can achieve any goal with strong will and hard work." Stating that the young generation is the future of Himachal Pradesh, the Chief Minister added that students should also come forward in politics. "I belong to a non-political family, but I always had a desire to serve the people. With years of hard work and facing challenges, I have reached to the post of CM today," said the CM, adding that as a Chief Minister he was working hard to make Himachal self-reliant by year 2027 and the most prosperous state of the country by 2032.
