The ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran has entered its 26th day, further escalating tensions in the region.

On Tuesday night, Iran launched a drone attack targeting Kuwait International Airport, which reportedly ignited fuel storage tanks and caused a significant fire.

In response, the Kuwaiti military initiated a counter-operation. Officials clarified that any explosion sounds heard in the area are due to the interception and destruction of enemy drones and missiles mid-air.

The military has urged citizens to remain calm and strictly follow government-issued safety guidelines.

Earlier, the Kuwaiti National Guard confirmed that it had successfully shot down five drones within its territory.

Meanwhile, an Iraqi militant group, Islamic Resistance in Iraq, claimed responsibility for launching attacks on 23 US-linked targets over the past 24 hours, adding another layer of concern to the already volatile situation.

According to the group, drones and missiles were used in these attacks. However, full details regarding the extent of the damage caused by these attacks have not yet emerged.
