The Haryana Government has made an important change to a service notified under the Haryana Right to Service Act, 2014, pertaining to the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department (Legal Metrology Organisation).
The time limit for issuing or renewing the online certificate for the verification of weights, measures, and related equipment has been reduced from 30 days to 3 days.
For this service, the Legal Metrology Officer (Inspector) has been designated as the competent officer. The Assistant Controller, Legal Metrology, has been designated as the First Grievance Redressal Authority, while the Deputy Controller, Legal Metrology, has been designated as the Second Grievance Redressal Authority.
