Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will leave for a 10-day visit to Japan on December 1. During the tour, he will invite Japanese industrialists to the Industrial Summit organized by the Punjab government and present new investment opportunities in the state.
The Punjab government aims to strengthen collaboration with Japan in key sectors such as advanced machinery manufacturing, automotive technology, electronics, food processing, solar energy, and emerging energy technologies.
Ahead of the visit, the Chief Minister, along with Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora, held an important online meeting with a large Japanese delegation. Representatives from the Japanese Embassy, JETRO, JCCII, and more than 25 major Japanese companies operating in India—including Panasonic, Sumitomo, Nippon, NEC, and Toyota—participated in the discussion.
