The Punjab Government has announced revised office timings for all its departments, boards, corporations, and other government offices across the state as part of its summer schedule.
According to an official order issued by the Personnel Department, the existing summer office timings, which were introduced through a notification dated May 24, 2026, remained in effect from May 25, 2026, with offices functioning from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
The government has now decided to implement a new office schedule from July 1, 2026. Under the revised timings, all Punjab Government offices and institutions will operate from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on working days.
The order has been issued with the approval of the competent authority and directs all concerned departments, heads of departments, boards, corporations, deputy commissioners, and subordinate offices to ensure strict compliance with the revised timings.
The Personnel Department has also instructed that a copy of the order be uploaded on the official website of the Punjab Government for wider public access.
